A 30-minute online professional development program that helps secondary school personnel and other youth-serving adults understand the challenges that LGBTQ youth face and gives them a chance to practice techniques for creating a safer and more supportive environment. The practice scenarios include: 1) curtailing instances of bullying and use of homophobic language in the classroom, and 2) connecting one-on-one with a student who has been a target of harassment. This course is listed in the SPRC/AFSP Best Practices Registry and is offered in collaboration with The Trevor Project and Campus Pride. All licenses will remain active for 12 months after purchase and is valid for one user. A downloadable, printable certificate of completion will be awarded upon completion of the training.
